About Me

Hi!  I am a Southern Girl who loves to read.  I enjoy fiction and nonfiction, both Christian and Secular, but always, always clean.  I love to share my thoughts on the books I read with others.  I hope you enjoy finding out more about the books I read, and it’s my hope that you will pick up a copy of some of the books on this site.  If it’s been reviewed on this site, I highly recommend the book.

If you are an author or publisher, and would like for me to review your book(s), please let me know.  My contact information may be found on the Contact Me page.

I married the Man Of My Dreams, Scott, on June 20, 2009.  I am so in love with him!  Scott has an eight year old son, Noah, of whom he has primary custody.   So, on my wedding day, I not only became a wife, I became a Mom!  Noah brings such joy to me.  Being a parent isn’t easy, but it is so rewarding that I would not have had it any other way.

I looove to travel!  I have been to several different and very unique places, and I have loved them all.  I’ve been to Vegas with my husband (we had a BLAST, and even won some cash!), Montana for several summers as a missionary, Venezuela as part of a mission team, and Disneyworld, which still takes the cake as my favorite vacation spot.

Here I am in a hunter’s cabin in eastern Montana.  I did not stay at this cabin, but I helped work the ranch of the guy who owns it.  Montana is truly Big Sky Country, and well worth the visit!

I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.  I grew up in a close knit family who does tons of stuff together, and I really appreciate and love my solid upbringing.  I have also been blessed with some pretty great friends who support me and have always been there for me.

For a living, I am a childcare provider.  I have been working at the same Christian Education Center since 2003, and I have worked with all the ages from infant to K4.  I love my job! I get to play with cute kids, color, and play outside and get paid for it.  It’s awesome!  That’s not to say that the job doesn’t have its challenges, but they are well worth it for how rewarding it is to work with children.

So that’s me in a nutshell.  I hope you enjoy my blog.  Thanks for reading and following my journey!

The books on this blog have been sent to me directly by either the publisher or the author. I paid nothing for these books. I received them free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I received the books only - no monetary compensation was given or received by either me nor the author or publisher. The copies I review are considered review copies or Advance Reader Copies. I will note in each post if I received a copy of the book for free from either the publisher or the author. If no such notation is made, then I purchased the book myself, was given a copy of the book by someone I know, or I checked out a copy from my local library.
